There is a charge that has been levied against the modern Church for at least the last two decades. It’s a claim that attacks the integrity of Church, exposes a massive weakness, and is about as politically incorrect as they come. So what is a leadership development plan anyway? It really is a fair question. Most guys have never seen or heard of a leadership development plan. The concept is really as straightforward as it sounds; it’s a plan to develop leaders. These can be used either by an organization to develop its leaders as a whole - which is more of an overall business strategy - or they can be used on an individual basis to develop the leadership skills of a specific person. The truth is that I'm not perfect and there are times when my words are harsh. You aren’t perfect either. So what’s a dad to do?

We need to understand the power of our words. We need to understand that as Proverbs says our tongue can hurt as bad anything else we can use to inflict pain. When we make a mistake we need to realize it. We need to ask for forgiveness, from God and our families.

Most importantly we need to flip the field. (Read more)

About this ministry
My name is Ryan Reeves and I founded Men of Jesus in 2007 because I am passionate about calling Christian men to follow Jesus and lead our world. My hope is that this ministry can give men practical tools and resources that equip them to lead. Many of the leadership skills and experiences I share come from over fifteen years of retail and telecommunications management and five years of men's ministry. I have been married to my wife Amber for 8 years and we have three awesome children, Grace (5), Luke (4), and Beau (2).
