Men of Jesus

First of all We Follow Jesus. We are an organization which is 100% unapologetically about Jesus Christ. We love Jesus and follow him because while we don’t deserve it; he loved us first. If it does not glorify Jesus Christ and call people to him; you won’t see us using our resources on it.

Secondly We Lead Our World. We believe all men are called to be leaders in our homes, communities, work places and churches. Most importantly we believe that when men work hard to lead others as they follow Christ they will no doubt lead them to salvation through Jesus Christ.

Third We Support Each Other. Support means to hold up and that’s what we do. We carry one another’s burdens, watch each other’s backs and look out for our brother’s best interests. We are a support network and that extends from our personal lives to our professional lives and to our eternal souls. We believe that Proverbs 27:17 is not only a great piece of wisdom but a promise and a command.

My name is Ryan Reeves; I’m the crazy guy who started this whole thing. The journey of Men of Jesus started in September 2007 and our website went live in February 2008. About a year and a half later we have a strong online community providing quality fellowship for Christian guys. Our members get into the word through a daily Bible study, where we walk through a book of the Bible one chapter at a time. They support one another through forum discussion and our 100% Pure Program; an online accountability group for men taking a stand for their sexual integrity.

Like most guys with a dream I have a vision for MOJ which extends beyond our current state. The basic idea is to establish a true social network with a purpose. You are welcome to read more about that on our Goals page. Right now our focus is on strengthening our online community through some of the things I mentioned above.

You might be wondering why I felt called to start up MOJ. It’s simple really; I am passionate about seeing Christ like leadership throughout all of our society. Professionally I had been working hard to develop the people on my teams so that they are able to lead at a high level and I want to see the same thing for my brothers in Christ. My hope for Men of Jesus is that in addition to providing a great place online for Christian men; it can help them become better husbands, fathers, leaders and most importantly followers of Jesus.
